In India, roadside chaiwallahs serve hot chai in kullads: delicate terracotta cups that lightly scent the tea and slowly cool it as you sip. You drink, then the cup returns to the earth. We’re keeping the soul of that ritual and giving it a modern life: a reusable ceramic mug with the tactile look and feel of a kullad.

The Collaboration

Designed in collaboration with and made by Jenney Shi, the artist behind JShi Ceramics, a Stockholm-based designer whose work balances between symmetry and organic textures. Together, we wanted to craft the perfect chai experience, for your first touch to set the stage for your first sip.
